The Costa Brava has several
interesting courses, including the new design at the PGA Golf
Club of Catalunya, which has already hosted the spainish Open.
The Costa Brava's Baix Emporda Costa Brava's Golden Triangle of
Golf, formed by the Plataja de Pals Golf, Serres de Pals Golf
and Emporda Golf Club. Both Platja de Pals and
Emporda are ranked amongst Europe Top 100 courses and the brand
new Serres de Pals should not last very long in joining them in
the chart.
Near Gerona, the regional capital, golfers will enjoy the brand
new championship course at the PGA Golf of Catalonia (PGA Golf
de Catalunya), built by the PGA European Tour Courses PLC, a company
dedicated in developing and managing golf courses to host professional
tournaments of the European Tour. In the Alt Emporda, Figueres
boasts two outstanding golf resorts, Torremirona Golf Resort and
Peralada Resort, Golf, Hotel & Wine Spa, both located right
at the outskirts of the city and near the beaches. All these courses
can be played from any hotel on the Costa Brava, as they are all
within an easy drive from each other.
